He was my great-great grandfather and Hannah Peak was my great-great grandmother.Ben's parents,William Skiles and Lydia Chadwell.William was born in MD. and Lydia was from North Carolina. She was a Cherokee woman. They married in 1795 in Green County, Tenn. Ben was also born in Tennessee. His wife Hannah Peak was from Ky. and was also part Indian.
