DIED.
HUBBEL.-AT the old home of his grandma (Sister Nancy Guffin) near Bracken, Huntington Co., Ind., Sept 30, 1889, Chester 0. Hubbel, aged 7 years, 11 months and 23 days. Chester was the youngest son of Sister Lida Hubbel. He was a very bright and cheerful boy, and was therefore doted upon by the entire family. He struggled patiently for the long period of twenty-three days with brain trouble, during which time his sufferings were intense. The relatives and friends put forth every effort to relieve the little sufferer, and to restore him to health, but all in vain. The enemy had claimed him. Of the immediate family, a mother, one brother and one sister survive him. Funeral sermon by the writer, after which we laid him away to rest until he who said "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God," shall come to gather "his jewels," and distribute the crowns. "
Then may this little tender bud,
Who was here so fair and gay,
Have no dark spots to dim his crown,
But with stars shine bright as day.
