Mrs. Sadie Carr Berry, 93 of 203 Quaker St., St. George, died Monday May 31, 2004, in Trident Medical Center.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m.Thursday, June 3, in Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wash Belangia officiating. Burial followed in the St. George Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clint Carr, Cecil Carr Jr., Kit Dukes, Douglas Heaton, Jerry Heaton, Andy Beall and Scottie Palmer.
Mrs. Berry was born May 27, 1911, a daughter of the late Richard R. and Elizabeth Sanders Creech. A graduate of Bamberg High School, she was a former Clerk for B. C. Moore's Department Store and she was an active member of St. George United Methodist Church and Sojourner Senior Center. She was the widow of William Rhettman Berry, was first married to the late John Stephen Carr Sr. and predeceased by a son, Richard N. Carr; a daughter, Patsy Carr Heaton, and a grandson, Kendall Wayne Carr.great granddaughter Michelle Catherine Carr
