ROULETTE, PA Mrs. Vesta K Miller, 87, of Roulette died Friday (Jan. 12, 1990) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, following a long illness. Born April 25, 1902, in Fishing Creek, she was the daughter of Ira B.
and Emily R. Weimer Knight. On July 7, 1921, in Portville, NY, she married John F. Miller, who predeceased her Jan. 5, 1958. Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Roulette High School, class of 1921, and was employed as a matron for several years at the Bradford Children's Home She was a member of Fishing Creek United Methodist Church, the
Hebron Grange 1251, a member of the former Roulette Rebekah Lodge, and a member of the Fishing Creek Ladies Aid. Surviving are a son, Merrit M. Miller of Roulette; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Laura) Tauscher of Greenville, TN; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother, DeForest L. (Buster) Knight of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P. M. at the Virgil L Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, where funeral services and committal services will be held Monday (Jan 15, 1990) at 2 P. M. The Rev. James T. Wenrich, pastor of the Coudersport Area Larger Parish of the United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews Settlement Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fishing Creek United Methodist church, RD 1, Roulette, PA, 16746; the Hebron Grange, RD 1 Box 31, Roulette, PA, 16746; or a charity of the donor's choice.
