Thomas Johnson, aged about ten years, was placed under arrest, Friday, by Marshal Prince, charged with having stolen a pair of shoes in front of the Fashion Shoe Store.
The complaint was filed in the Circuit Court by Prosecutor Rawley and the boy placed in jail. Monday Judge McGregor sentenced the boy to the reform school at Plainfield.
