Norma E. Divins Arcovio, 67, of 5611 Bondy Drive, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997, at Hamot Medical Center.

She was born in Sligo, Armstrong County, on July 6, 1929, daughter of the late Thomas and Elva Thompson Divins.

Mrs. Arcovio was a sales associate at Kaufmann's Department Store for about eight years. Many years ago she was a teller at the former Union Bank on Parade Street.

Mrs. Arcovio was a parishioner of St. George Catholic Church. She was a member of the East Erie Turners and played bocce in the Monday Night East Erie Turners League and St. George Women's League. She golfed in leagues at Southwood and Fox Run golf courses.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Robert Divins, and a sister, Jean Servey.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Louis C. Arcovio; two sons, Louis C. Arcovio II of Newton, Mass., and his wife, Amy, and Robert A. Arcovio of Cheswick, Allegheny County, and his wife, Debbie;
a daughter, Kathy J. Dunford of Mason, Ohio, and her husband, Mark; a sister, Leona Love of Clarion and her husband, Donald; and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Brugger Home for Funerals, W. 38th Street and Greengarden Boulevard, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held there Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. George Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m.

Entombment will be in Holy Family Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank, 1703 Ash, Erie, Pa. 16503.
