Clella June Foster, daughter of the late Samual Smith and Lillie (Cleaver) Storie, was born July 13, 1932 in Laquey, Missouri.

As a young girl, June, as she was known to her family and friends, attended Prospect School and graduated the 8th grade. At an early age, she developed a love for books about geography and was always reading.

One June 14, 1947, June was united in marriage to Luie Foster in Waynesville, Missouri. They shared over 54 years of marriage together and were blessed with one daughter, Lenda.

After retiring, June began doing custom quilting jobs as a pastime and to earn a little extra income. She was very talented with her hands and did beautiful knitting, crocheting and other handwork.
