MITCHELL — Allien Magner True Rayhill Bugh Atkinson, 83, of Mitchell, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, W.Va.
Born Jan. 13, 1925, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Dewey and Mae (Lanning) Magner. She was a graduate of Mitchell High School class of 1942. She was a member of Spice Valley Church in Mitchell. She retired from Carpenter Body Works in Mitchell.
She married Gene Atkinson in August 2005.
Survivors include her husband of Mitchell; one son, Tom True and wife Linda of Daniels, W.VA.; one daughter, Lynn Rowe and husband Bob of Oakland City; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jencie Sharp and Judy Morris, both of Losantville, and Evelyn Hahn of Dearborn, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dewey Magner.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ferguson-Lee Haverly Chapel in Mitchell. Burial will be in Talbott Cemetery in Lawrence County.
