MRS. ANTHONY
VALLEY — Mrs. Aurelia Bell Anthony, 92, of Valley died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 at River Bend Assisted Living.
A graveside service was held Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at Langdale Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Lyons officiating.
Mrs. Anthony is survived by her daughter, Jane Fields of Lanett; her son, Tom (Ruth) Bell of Castle Rock, Wash.; five grandchildren, Melvin Fields Jr., Tom Fields, Tamra Bell, Amanda Bell and Aurelia Bell; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Anthony was born June 21, 1913 in Cordova, Ala. She taught kindergarten in Langdale in 1930. Mrs. Anthony was an interior decorator and also taught piano. She loved her family, animals and her home. Mrs. Anthony was a member of Langdale United Methodist Church.
Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home of Valley handled arrangements.
