Services were held this afternoon at Champion Funeral Home for B.F.(Frank) Addington, who died Friday at the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 11, 1894, in Sequoia District, Indian Territory, Okla. He married Effie Dudley March 17, 1911, at Stegler, Okla.
Addington came to Sheridan in 1971 from Texas and operated Addington's Antiques and Junque with his son, Robert. They were together in business for 57 years, starting with a Western Store in Pampa, Texas.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Muskogee, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie, who died in 1964 and by his son, who died in 1977.
Survivors include a daughter, Ophelia (Felix) Smith, Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Maudie Lancaster, Visalia, Calif., Beatrice Payne and Dollie Wiles, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; his daughter-in-law, Pansy Addington, Sheridan; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Russell Kent of the Big Horn Church officiated at the services. Interment was in Big Horn Cemetery.
