A funeral for Mrs. Evelyn Hine Beattie, 89, Chattanooga, Tenn., will be at the West Chapel in Chattanooga and a graveside service is scheduled for later in the day at 1 p.m. at the Athens City Cemetery, with the Rev. J.P. West officiating. Services in Chattanooga will be at 10 a.m. today with the Rev. Matthew McGowan officiating.
Mrs. Beattie died April 1 at the Erlinger Hospital in Chattanooga.
Survivors include a son, Ernest S. Beattie, Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Sheridan Reid, Georgetown, Tenn., and Mrs. B.E. Hatfield, Chattanooga, Tenn; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Clem and Miss Henrietta Hine, both of Athens; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
