KILGORE - Services for Norma Jean Ervin, 79, of White Oak, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Mason Cemetery in Arp, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.
Mrs. Ervin passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008, in White Oak.
Norma Jean Ervin was born March 16, 1929, to the late Olan and Leva Mae Tubb. She worked as a telephone operator. Jean made her family her first priority, and she enjoyed church activities, reading and gardening.
Survivors include her son, Larry Wayne and Jeanne Haire of Kilgore; daughters, Patti Haire and David Muenstarman of White Oak, and Pam Hall of Longview; son, Phillip and Jackie Ervin of Big Springs; and daughters, Sondra and Keith Nusko of Lindale, and Jessica Ervin and Mark Allen of Canton. Mrs. Ervin was blessed with 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Jesse "Speedy" Ervin; her parents, Olan and Leva Tubb; and one grandson, David Belew.
