He was born December 5, 1933 in Daisy, Oklahoma to William Andrew and Lorena (Wright) Cecil. Bill drove trucks all of his life and retired from LeeWay Motor Freight after 13 years of employment. He wa a member of the Community Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting deer, blue grass music, and playing with his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce Cecil of the home: two sons, Eddie Cecil of Seminole, Ok and William Edward of Poteau, Ok: one daughter Janet Simmons and husband Randy of Seminole, Ok;one brother, Joe A. Cecil and wife Carolyn of OKC; twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held 2;oo pm Saturday, October 30,2004 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens
