Ola B. Sanford, 85, of Rives died Aug. 26, 2008, at Union City Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with Bobby Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Cobb?s Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Charlie Priest, Pat Hogan, Ronald Hill, Tommy Craft, Billy Barton and Daniel Webster. She was born July 13, 1923, in Obion, daughter of the late Benjamin and Daisy Everett. She was a homemaker and a member of Berea Church of Christ near Rives and was the widow of Fred Sanford. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Barton of Rives; her brother, Lexie Everett, of Plymouth, Mich.; two granddaughters, Betty Barton of Rives and Karen Barton of Troy; and four great-grandchildren, Jafet Romero, Luis Romero, Victor Romero and Katie Romero, all of Rives. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jim Bob Robertson; and three brothers, Ralph Everett, Jack Everett, and Bill Everett.
