Daughter of Johannes Schaeffer and Mary Eva Sabine (Sab)

Married Johan George Peiffer on 2 Apr 1781. in Himmel Lutheran Church, Mahoney, (Northumberland Co.)

-? Died in full triumph of faith, at the residence of her son, Samuel Peiffer, Woodcock Township on this
evening of the 10th -? in her 8? year of her age. Mrs. Magdalena Peiffer, consort of Mr. John George Peiffer, soldier of the Revolutionary war, died of a ? ? and exceedingly painful illness of about 15 months, which she bare with exemplary patience and fortitude, never murmuring at this dispensation of that Providence appointed rod?, even in the darkest season of suffering, but cheerfully acknowledging its justice, she relied on the mercy of - ? offered her in the - ?
The dis-? was a native of Berks Co. where she spent her youthful days. She was early dedicator ---- through the holy ordinance of baptism, and in due season became a member in full communion of the Evangelist Lutheran Church in 1802, she with her family emigrated to this unity where she has since remained, beloved by all with whom she had intercourse. Having had the pleasure of rearing up a family of 12 children, she lived to see her children's children into the fourth generation making in all 226 in number. Peace be with her ashes.
