She was born and raised in Laclede County, Missouri. After she and Theon were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their children. Throughout the years, Alta was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. For the last several years she had enjoyed living in Vernon Heights in Lebanon.
Alta was saved early in her life and was baptized into the Baptist faith in the Bennett Spring.
In her spare time she enjoyed fishing and was an avid bird watcher. She also liked riding with her granddaughter on her mini-bike. She was somewhat of a perfectionist and liked having everything done correctly and neatly. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed all of her grandchildren.
Alta was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends.
