Veronica Morales Spence passed away Saturday evening, November 22, 2008 at a Baytown hospital. She was born July 16, 1964 in Victoria, Texas to Jess and Mamie (Herrera) Morales. She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Highlands and a teacher and Family Involvement Coordinator with Goose Creek ISD for the past 20 years. She was a graduate of the University of Houston and Eucharistic Minister and Religious Education Teacher at her Church. Veronica coached baseball, was a Boy Scout Mom, and helped with Project Graduation. She loved life and being with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Veronica is survived by her husband, Gary Spence of Baytown; son, Kendall Spence of Dallas; daughter, Carol Lynn Spence of Baytown; parents, Jesse Morales of Rosenberg, and Mamie Morales of Bay City; brothers, Richard Morales and wife Kris of Bay City and Sylvester Morales of Bay City.
