Death of Frederick Hoopengarner
Frederick Hoopengarner, an aged resident of near Wheeler, passed away at the family home, Tuesday after an illness of several weeks. He was well and favorably known in this vicinity, having been one of the early settlers in that community. He was a devoted husband and a kind and indulgent father.
Deceased was born in Indiana, Dec. 10, 1835. Age 82 years, 10 months and 12 days.
Funeral services were held at the home, Thursday morning at 11 o'clock conducted by Rev. Chronic. Interment in the Wheeler cemetery.--Dieterich Special Gazette.
