Ira Aldrich, age seventeen years and six months, died at the residence of Dr. Tibbits in this city at 4 o'clock yesterday morning of heart failure, brought on by inflammatory rheumatism, after an illness of several months' duration. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at Big Horn at 2 o'clock that afternoon, conducted by Rev. E. J. Hutsonpilar at the Little Goose Creek, and the burial was conducted by Smith & Thompson, undertakers of this city.
The deceased was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Aldrich of five miles south of Sheridan, and was, five weeks ago, brought to this city, where he could receive the best of care and medical aid. It was thought he was going to recover until a couple of days ago, when he took worse again, and death yesterday was the result.
