DEATH OF AN AGED LADY OF LOWER MILFORD
Mrs. Elizabeth Bauder, of Vera Cruz, Lower Milford twp., died on Friday night, 9th, at the residence of one of her married daughters in Row 19, near Aineyville, aged 70 years less 11 days. Her husband died seven years ago, and since then she has been living with her children, she going from one to the other as her inclinations dictated, and always meeting with a welcome that betokened the heartiest filial love. She had long been troubled with dropsy and heart disease, and at times was laid up under great suffering. A week prior to her death she came to stay with her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Mumbauer, near Aineyville, and while there she was taken with a violent attack of her besetting maladies, and which carried her out of life into eternity. As a matter of convenience for the funeral occasion her remains were the next day transferred to the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Ezra Stickler, at Vera Cruz, from whose home the funeral took place on Wednesday last, interment and services at the Lutheran church at Old Zionsville, Rev. Eli Keller officiating . The deceased was well and favorably known in her section, and greatly esteemed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her during life. Her affectionate manner and kindly disposition won for her a large circle of friends who will regret to learn of her death.
She was one of nature's true hearts - without deceit and without selfishness. She was a noble soul of love and sympathy, a kind friend and attentive neighbor. She was survived by six children - Willoughby, of Allentown, Elmira, the wife of Mr. Charles Mumbauer, of near Aineyville, Matilda the wife of Mr. Benneville Wambold, of Vera Cruz, Emeline, the wife of Mr. Chas. Stickler, of same place, Mary, the wife of Mr. Joseph Eastman, of near Aineyville, and Sarah, the wife of Mr. Henry Dice of Chestnut Hill, Lower Milford.

She was the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Diehl Kline.
