Leora Ruth Rusmisel was born Oct. 20, 1922, in Lone Wolf to Emma Price Richey and Oscar T. Richey and died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at Elkview General Hospital in Hobart, at the age of 82 years, three months and two days.
She was married to Donald L. Rusmisel, Son of George Rusmisel & Ruth M. [Raiber Rusmisel] in Lone Wolf, Kiowa Co.,OK on Dec. 24, 1943.
Rusmisel was a homemaker and a member of the Lone Wolf United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clinton Richey and Chester Richey, and two sisters, Ethel and Pearl.
Rusmisel is survived by her son and his wife, Kenny and Anna Rusmisel of Oklahoma City; two daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Andrew Moore of Lewisville, Texas and Darla and Dale Sutton of Toledo, Ohio; and nine grandchildren. [Her husband Don and her daughter-in-law Anna have since died.]
The funeral service for Leora Rusmisel will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at the Lone Wolf United Methodist Church, officiated by pastor C.M. Wilson Sr. Burial will be at Lone Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home.
