MRS. ALLEN
LANETT -- Mrs. Alice Faye Allen, 67, of Lanett died Monday, June 7, 1999 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 10 at 1 p.m. (EDT) at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Revs. Floyd Aikens and Rusty Letson officiating. Burial will follow in Langdale Cemetery in Valley.
Mrs. Allen is survived by two sons, Adron Thomas Allen Sr. of Mobile and Timothy D. Allen of Lanett; two brothers, Bobby Watkins of Fredonia and Winford Weldon of Detroit, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
Born Oct. 31, 1931, in Langdale, Ala., Mrs. Allen was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, avid gardener and animal lover. Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late Ethel Hartman Watkins and Homer Watkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adron H. Allen.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
