Fern Falleaf, Caney Kansas
Mrs. Fern Alice Falleaf, 70, of Caney, died at 12:15 p.m. in the Caney Municipal Hospital shortly after she was admitted.
Born July 27, 1902, in Simmons, Missouri, she moved with her family to Wasington county. She married Fred L. Falleaf at Independence, Kansas, on May 4, 1925 and later moved with him to Caney in 1947. Mr falleaf died in 1971. The past month she has been in Bartlesville's Heritage Home.
Surviors include one son, one brother, Homer Whetstine, of Longmont, Colo. and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. satruday inthe Falleaf Cemetery, five miles northeast of Copan, with the Rev. Andrew Fritze, of the Caney Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home in Caney, until 1 p.m. Saturday.
