Janet, one of a set of twins, was born to Frances V. Nelson. Her twin died shortly after birth. She weighed a mere 1 lb 12 oz. Altho she had a slow and small start, she grew into a wonderful person. She was a very loving sister to Frances, Patricia, and Linda, always thinking of others before herself. She married Karl M. Austin on Mar 10, 1961 in WA. and led the life of an Army wife for 22 years, bore two sons, Karl and Roger. She was married 33 years. Her health in later years led to early death at the age of 61. She is sorely missed by her sister, Frances.
