Mrs. Betty Beecher, 28, Dies In Home Near Widowville
WIDOWVILLE -- Mrs. Betty Jane Beecher, 28, lifelong resident of this community, died at 2:30 a. m. today in her home on the Honey Creek Rd. after an illness of one week. Surviving are her husband, Clayton H. Beecher; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann, and her mother, Mrs. Elma Hayes at home. Mrs. Beecher was a member of the Vermillion Baptist church where rites will be held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday. Rev. Lena Jennings will officiate, being assisted by her pastor, Rev, Donald Scribner of Perrysville. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery in Perrysville. Friends may call at the funeral home in Lucas until noon Wednesday, then at the family residence.
