Barbara Groulx was born July 7, 1933, in Ogdensburg, daughter of Hector and Rena Martel Sholette. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy, Ogdensburg, and married Leonard Groulx on Jan. 7, 1956, in Notre Dame Church with Monsignor A.D. Charbonneau officiating.
Mr. Groulx , a bus driver and head custodian for the Waddington building of Madrid-Waddington Central School, died Nov. 24, 1988.
Mrs. Groulx was an emergency room technician and X-ray assistant at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg, (now Hepburn Medical Center), for 10 years.
She was later an EEG/EKG technician at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, Ogdensburg, for 10 years. She retired in August.
Mrs. Groulx had resided in Waddington since 1964.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
