Mrs. C.Y. Berry died at an early hour last Wednesday morning at the home of her father, J.J. Kennedy, leaving an infant only a few hours old.
Funeral services were held at the home at 10 o'clock Thursday and she was buried in the Lucedale Cemetery. Rev. F.W. Gunn, pastor of the Rocky Creek church officiating.
Mrs. Berry formerly lived here but since her marriage has made her home on the West side of the river. She is survived by her husband, father, J.J. Kennedy, two sisters, Mrs. Art Gibson and Mrs. Evern Jones and other relatives and many friends who grieve at her untimely death.
