ANN MARIE BAILEY Of Pioneer, died at the age of 90 in Sacramento on Saturday, November 27, 2004 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Oakland, CA on March 19, 1914 to Eugenio and Tranquilla Mariani who immigrated to California from Lucca, Italy with her three older siblings. She was the loving wife of Thomas F. Bailey, who preceded her in death in January 2002. She was beloved by her daughter, Susan Dantche of Seattle, CA and her sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Linda Bailey of El Dorado Hills, Tim and Tamar Bailey of Pioneer, Chris and Pam Bailey of Castro Valley and Steven Bailey and Felicia Laureano of Hayward. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Mark, Christine, Liam, Michael, Bryan, Evan, Samantha, Amanda and her great grandchildren, Nick, Danielle, Jake and Olivia. She is also survived by her older sister, Bianca Jacklich of Manteca. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Pioneer, followed by interment at Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer. A Rosary will be held Thursday, December 2, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Pioneer. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 2, 2004 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2222 Watt Ave., Ste. D1, Sacramento, CA 95825. McCrory's of Pine Grove in charge of arrangements, 209-296-4700.
