Anthony David Blakemore was born on May 17, 1950 in Davidson County, Tennessee and died March 21, 1973, @ 1:30 pm @ Vanderbilt Hospital - Nashville, TN. He died of Hodgkins Disease.

He professed a hope in Christ at the age of eight, under the pastorship of Rev. A.R. McCarver. He was a faithful member.

Anthony received his education in the public schools of Shelbyville. He attended Bedford County Training School; Harris High School and graduated from Central High School in 1968. He completed his Junior year at MTSU in Murfreesboro, majoring in Business Administration.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents; two sisters, Deborah and Sheree Blakemore of Shelbyville; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Lyle of Shelbyville, paternal grandmother Mrs. Irene Blakemore of Shelbyville; seven aunts, Mrs. Elmore Middleton, Mrs. Reginald Hard and Miss Geraldine Lyle of Washington, DC, Mrs. Harvey Brinson of Silver Springs, Maryland, Mrs. Joe Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee, Mrs. Thomas Lyle of Battle Creek, Michigan, Mrs. Maney Blakemore of Dayton, Ohio, Mr. James Lyle of Louisville, Kentucky, Mr. Thomas Lyle of Battle Creek, Michigan, Mr. Elmore Middleton and Mr. Reginal Hart, both of Washington, DC, Mr. Harvey Brinson of Silver Springs, Maryland; a host of cousins and friends.
