HALLS -- Martha Macklin Johnson, 41, of Flint, Mich., died Monday of cancer at a hospital in Michigan. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Matthews Zion Baptist Church in Halls with burial in Old Chapel Cemetery here. Thomas Funeral Home of Ripley has charge. Mrs. Johnson, the wife of Jimmie Johnson, also leaves a daughter, Trishanda Johnson of Flint; three sons, Darin Johnson and Merin Johnson, both of Flint, and Kenneth Johnson of Bells; her mother, Willie Macklin of Halls; three sisters, Florence Gillette and Alice Lee, both of Halls, and Lula Barbee of Ripley; four brothers, Johnny B. Macklin and Willie Gene Macklin, both of Halls, M. C. Macklin of Chicago and Charle Macklin of St. Louis, and five grandchildren.
