Maud Ella Mills, 84, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel.Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Maud Ella was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Fort Worth to Ora and Lee Baxter. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 8235.
Maud Ella was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Mills Sr., and two daughters, Billie Lee Bennett and Barbara Jo Walker.
Survivors: Brother, Andrew Baxter and wife, Shirley; daughters, Beverly Sue McCormick, Betty Jean Etheridge and Beatrice Elmore and husband, Monty; son, James Luther Mills Jr. and wife, Terri; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and stepdaughter, Carmen Ortiz.
