Funeral services for Carolyn R. (Mae) Arnold, 97, were held on Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins. Interment followed in Cowart Cemetery in Benndale.

A devout Christian and devoted to helping others, she died on March 4, 2005. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing. She was a retired nursing instructor and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Wiggins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles D. Arnold, parents, John Wesley Rogers and Caroline Fortner Rogers, three brothers, Isaac Rogers, Shelton Rogers, Lem Rogers; three sisters, Martha Parker, Agnes Walker and Lula Sellers.

She is survived by five nieces, Mary Alice Parker, Martha Sue Davis, Annie Whittington, Margaret Ann Williams, Myrtle Lee Bell, three nephews, Shelton Rogers, Bobby Rogers and Jim Sellers.
