Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, in the Delta Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Partain officiating.
Interment will follow in the Charleston Cemetery.
Ruby Gladine Blount, 89, of Royse City, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Medical City Dallas.

Visistation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Blount was born in Mt. Vernon, TX on October 4, 1924, the daughter of John Simpson and Nancy Paddick Simpson. She had worked at Resiston Mfg. and Paris Junior College. She was a member of the Holiness Church.
She is survived by a daughter; Carolyn Fulton of Royse City, two grandchildren; John Fulton and wife Lauren, and Danny Fulton and wife Jennifer, and six great grandchildren; Jordan, Lindsey, Hayden, Halli, Caleb, and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Clifton Blount, a daughter Nancy Ann Blount and a son-in-law Charles Fulton.
