Mrs. Beardsley
Mrs. Eliza M. Beardsley, 83, of Traverse City, died Saturday morning following a long illness. Born In Grand Traverse county in 1871, she spent her entire life in the
community.
Eliza Mannville was united in marriage to Frank Beardsley in 1878. Mr. Beardsley passed away in 1931. For many years Mrs. Beardsley cared for regional people in time of illness. Her services as a practical nurse were always without pay.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Paul Beardsley of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Clifford Mull, Traverse City, Mrs. Alvin Brackett, Williamsburg, and Mrs. Gladys
Nordahs, Traverse City; one sister, Mrs. Clara Buckner, Pomona, California; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving are many other relatives and scores of friends. Two sons preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Martinson funeral home with Rev. R. J. Tuttle officiating. Burial will be made in the family lot at Oakwood cemetery.
