William Henry Jordan was born in Sigourney, Iowa, to Cyrus P. & Rhoena Alsey (Searcy) Jordan. On Nov, 24, 1861, he was married to Lydia Lentz. To this union were born 7 children - Armindia, James Robert, William Ivan, Isaac Russell, Lizzie Bell, Florence Mae & Alice Iola. After the death of Lydia in Jan. 1911, He married Thulia O'Dell Clark, on Aug. of 1912.
In his nature, he was even tempered & gentle. In his purpose he was straight forward & honest. As a husband & father he was faithful, congenial & kind.
