Allen Noble Bennett "Pops" Allen Noble Bennett, 90, our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather passed away early Friday morning, March 11, 2005, from causes incident to age. Born April 5, 1914 in Bountiful, Utah to Joseph C. and Pearl Noble Bennett. Married Leona Barkdull on July 5, 1939. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Survived by his children, Bud (LaRee) Garfield of Cedar City, Connie (Byron) Bracken of West Valley City, Russell Bennett of Tuscon, AZ, Marvin (Marilyn) Bennett of Murray, Joe (Lynda) Bennett of Manti, Sharon (Neldon) Lloyd of Sandy, Joyce (Robert ) Duenas of West Valley City, Carl Bennett of Colorado Springs, CO, Carla (Stan) Mortensen of Salt Lake City, Jay (Nancy) Bennett of Bridger, MT. Survived also by his many grandchildren and great and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Leona; daughter, Bonnie and son Blaine. Father was an avid outdoorsman and hobby enthusiast. He resided in Green River, Wyoming for 18 years before moving the family to Salt Lake City. There wasn't anything "Pops" couldn't do. If he didn't have it - you didn't need it! The 10+ tons of stuff proves it. The family expresses their appreciation to the Millcreek Wentworth staff and Haven Hospice. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 14th, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Funeral directors, Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
