John married Sophronia Breland, in the 1910 census, John is living with dau. Clara's family. In the 1920 census he's living with Walter's family as a widow.

Children include; Lonia F Fairley, John Watson Fairley, Walter Fairley, George Edgar Fairley, Clara Fairley Gilmore, Malissa Fairley, Leona S. Fairley Turk, Charles Corbet Fairley and Ozeaus B Fairley.

JOHN FAIRLEY DEAD
Mrs. A.E. O'Neal of lower Big Level was called to Leaf, Miss., Saturday last by the death of her brother, John Fairley.
Deceased was upwards of 73 years old, and died at the home of his brother near Leaf.
Burial was made in the family grave yard near that place. Mrs. O'Neal's daughter, Miss Pocahontas, accompanied her to the funeral of her brother.
