I can find no documentation as to his death/place so I give him a place to rest here. My GGG Grandfather through Benjamin Harrison Lewis and his father James "Boone".

From the Lewis/London Family Notes* by Ina Lee Lewis:
"After the massacre 1853, Katherine and her four surviving children moved to Cole City where they lived with her sister and brother-in-law, Juda (nee Burnett) & John LONDON. When Walker [D.W.] and J.B. "Boone" (brothers) were old enough they returned to the mountain [Boston Mtn?],
married and claimed family property. They built up businesses farming, operating a sawmill, a flour mill and some other things in partnership with their in-laws, the Morris family, and with some of their Morris connections, the Wood family. At age 14, "Winnie" [Buenavista] married her cousin, Rufus Huston LONDON, and moved to Texas until the Civil War ended when they returned to Cole City." [Family Source: Ina Lee Lewis Newsletters]

Four Children:

1849, "J.B.", James "Boone" LEWIS.
