Charles Herbert Anderson, 75, 205 west main, Grantsville died Thursday at 2 a.m. in the Tooele Valley Nursing Home of a lingering illness.

He was born April 10, 1885, in Grantsville, a son of Claus and Ellen Caravan House Anderson.

He married Margaret Beatrice Brim December 31, 1907, in Salt Lake City, Utah, later the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died on August 8, 1954.

Mr. Anderson spent his early life as a miner in Gold Hill, Park City and in Nevada. His later life was spent as a farmer and a carpenter in Grantsville. He was an Elder in the LDS Church.

Surviving are the following children: Charles Elliot Anderson, Fernley, Nevada; Mrs. Joseph (Beatrice) Stumph, of Grantsville; Mrs. Harriet Nichols, Tooele; Mrs. Wesley (Lois) Barrus, Grantsville and Herbert Eldon Anderson, Salt Lake City.

Four brothers: Claus Anderson, Blackfoot, Idaho; Ken Anderson, California; Warren Anderson, Ivan Anderson, of Hawthorne, Nevada; and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Tidwell, Ogden, Utah and Mrs. Aaron Smith of Nampa, Idaho. Thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Grantsville First Ward/.
