August Johnson, living just southwest of Osceola, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon from an attack of heart failure. Mr. Johnson was 68 years of age and had been in his usual good health and was working in the yard when the summons came. He lived for many years on the Buckley farm near Stromsburg and was known as one of the most progressive farmers in the county, having come to Polk County from Sweden and accumulated a comfortable subsistence. He leaves his widow, one son Clarence, and two daughters, Mabel and Hazel. Funeral services were held today at Stromsburg. Rev. Frohman of the Mission Church conducting the services.
