He was united in marriage to Mabel Janet Brown on July 3, 1938 at Klamath Falls, Oregon. Following their marriage they resided in San Francisco, California from 1938 to 1943. In 1943, they moved to Vancouver, Washington, where they lived until 1947 when they moved to the Forest Grove community, where he has resided since.
Everett was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel, on February 5, 1997 in Forest Grove, Oregon, after celebrating over fifty-eight years of marriage together.
He worked for the Mayflower Farms in Portland in Advertising and Promotion for 18 years, until 1967, when he retired.
Everett was a longtime and active member of the Forest Grove United Church of Christ, (Congregational), a longtime and active member of the Forest Grove Kiwanis Club, having served as a past Secretary for sixteen years and as a past Treasurer for seventeen years. Everett had 60 years of perfect attendance with the Kiwanis Club. He was also instrumental in starting the Forest Grove Senior Center in 1971, having served on the first board for twenty-six years.
Among his special interests he enjoyed gardening and volunteering in the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his four sisters, Venita, Una, Zetta and Melba.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy E. Webster, of Aloha, Oregon; his son, Robert E. "Bob" Webster, of Forest Grove, Oregon and his sister, Ednamae of Union Gap, Washington.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
