Our notice of the death of Erwin Whitney last week was misplaced and was not noticed until too late for correction. He died at his home three miles west of Cherokee, April 10, aged about 43 years. The destroying disease was pneumonia, with which he suffered several days. This is the second death in the family within a little more than a year.
