Mrs. Marjorie King Abercrombie, age 86, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Wahoo Baptist Church. Reverend Les Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the funeral home.

Marjorie was born April 6, 1929 in Habersham County, Georgia, daughter of the late Charles King and Hortense Waldrip King. She was a homemaker, farmer and a member of Wahoo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, Carey D. (Kay) Abercrombie; sister-in-law, Lillian Truelove.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald Lee and Elaine Abercrombie of Murrayville; daughter, Deborah L. Hood of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Dale Oldenburg of Murrayville; grandchildren, Kevin and Cierra Abercrombie, Amanda and Bryan Brown, Adrienne and Chuck West, Derrick Stevens, Jonathan Oldenburg and Michael Oldenburg and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Ann and Marvin Martin of Gainesville; Eunice Pierce of Gainesville; and brother-in-law, Ralph Truelove of Murrayville.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Mrs. Abercrombie.
