Wilburton, OK--Mrs. James Helms, Sr., passed away at her home here Tuesday, after a long illness. Mrs. Helms a long time resident here was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Funeral services were held Friday at their home here, with Chris Pough bringing the message. Interment was made at Degnan cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Mr. James Helms, Sr., and a son, James Helms, Jr., who is employed at the present time in California, and was unable to attend the funeral of his mother. Mrs. James Helms, Jr. and two children of McAlester, were out of town guests in the Helms home.
