Alice Jewell Brandon, 82, of Russellville and formerly of London, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born June 22, 1922, at Piney, Arkansas to Clifton Charles and Elizabeth Brock Blalock. She was a former employee of Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center and was a member of the London United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Johnie E. Brandon and two brothers, Joe and Cecil Blalock.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Gwenna Brandon of Russellville; three brothers, Bobby Blalock of Memphis, Tennessee, Charles Blalock of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Benny Blalock of North Carolina; a sister, Jereline Milligan of London; three grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Debra Brandon, Justin and Melissa Brandon, and Nathan and Becky Brandon all of Russellville; three great grandchildren, Hadassah, Ethan, and Jordan Brandon all of Russellville. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2005, at the Parker Hill Holiness Church at Russellville, officiated by Rev. David Harrison and Rev. Leroy Muncy. Burial will be in Brock Cemetery at London under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
