Robert William "Bobby" Egan, 44, passed away October 8, 2008 at his home in Richfield. He was born November 24, 1963 in Inglewood, California to Homer William "Bill" Jr. and Loretta Messner Egan. He married Jean Watts on December 13, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bobby loved everything about the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends...just getting away was great. He enjoyed the 4-wheeler trips with the brothers-in-law, son-in-law and friends. He loved every job he worked at and all the people he met became his lifelong friends. His children and the grandchildren they gave him were very special to him. He so loved everyone of them.
His survivors include his wife of Richfield; parents of Sigurd; daughter, Jody (Mark) Stapel of Salina; daughter-in-law: Melonie Washburn of Sigurd; 11 grandchildren: Jenny, Joey, Steven, Amber, Jesse, Allesha, Donovan, Kelly, Wendie, Brickell, Joni; a brother, Eric Egan of St.
Louis; father-in-law: Jerry (Dawn) Watts; mother-in-law: Barbara Watts, both of Richfield; brothers and sisters-in-law: Karen (Kim) Busk, Peggy
(Mitch) Unger, Bobby (Jolene) Watts, Chris (Judy) Watts, Jenni (Cortney) Hunt, Lori (David) Peterson.
He is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Washburn; grandparents, Homer and Betty Egan, Bob and Lutie Messner.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel.
