Daughter of Wayne and Lorna (Doty) Robinson.

A graduate of the Sparrow Hospital School of Nursing.

Married 1st husband, Joseph Johnston in 1939. They resided in Grand Ledge, Grand Rapids, Richmond, Va., and Radnor, Penn. After his death, she married Howard Bernet. Following Howard's death, she moved to Virginia Beach, Va.
