Son of George Lincoln Baker and Helena Frances Atterbury.
Edward's sister Eva always referred to him as "dear little Edward". He was accidentally shot when children were playing with a gun while going after cows on Dec. 26, 1906. He suffered terribly, medical help being very poor. In his delirium he talked of his school teacher chasing him. That made the teacher feel very bad for being a bit hard on him during class.
