Services for Pauline Ash will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2005 at Full Gospel Light House Church; Catoosa,Oklahoma; Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Rice Funeral Service.
Pauline went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2005. She was 80.
Born October 8, 1925 in Catoosa to Charles Edward and Lula Belle Atkins Simpkins, Pauline was reared and Educated in her birth community. On July 12, 1943 she and Earl W. Ash were married in a Claremore Ceremony. The couple first made Catoosa home and then later Claremore, but in 1955 Tulsa became home.
Pauline's favorite pastimes were sewing, traveling and fishing. those close to her knew that fishing was nearly her favorite thing to do. Even if she didn't catch any fish, it brought her much joy just to go. Pauline was also an ordained minister and preached the Gospel throughout this part of the country for many years.
This wonderful Lady that was so precious to her family will be missed by all who knew her. Those that survive are her husband Earl of their home, her children, Earline Rodgers and husband Roy of New Albany, Indiana, Dannie Ash of Tulsa, Ronnie Ash and wife Candy of Broken Arrow and Sondra Davidson and husband Gary of Wichita, Kansas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Levi Simpkins of Catoosa and two sisters, Betty Hodges of Morris, Oklahoma and Bonnie Hambrick of Catoosa. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and sister Margaret Simpkins of New York City, New York.
