Herbert L. Jarman Sr.
PETAL - Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home in Petal for Herbert Lee Jarman Sr., 79, of Petal, who died Oct. 16, 2008, at Wesley Medical Center.
Burial will be in Green's Creek Cemetery. Mr. Jarman was born in Wadesboro, Anson County, N.C. on July 6, 1929.
Mr. Jarman was a U.S. Postal Service carrier and member of West Hattiesburg Congregation of the Jehovah's Witness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nan Lee Jarman.
Survivors include two sons, Herb Jarman Jr. of Petal and Jeff Jarman of Hattiesburg; a daughter, Janet Jarman Murphy of Petal; a sister, Nell Presson of Marshville, N.C.; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
He married June 16, 1951.
